Sie erklären ihr Experiment mit dem Titel "Die Guillotine" zum Erfolg - und attackieren ihre tierlieben Kritiker.

Nur eine Minderheit der Studenten wird pünktlich fertig: Lediglich zwei von fünf schaffen ihren Abschluss in der Regelstudienzeit, das zeigt eine neue Auswertung des Statistischen Bundesamts. Bachelor-Studenten halten sich jedoch meist an die Zeitvorgaben.

Die Uni Frankfurt zwingt ihre Studenten, sich einen Tag frei zu nehmen. Aus Angst vor den "Blockupy"-Demonstranten verriegelt sie von Mittwochabend bis Sonntag alle Gebäude der Universität. Studentenvertreter freuen sich allerdings nicht darüber, sondern sind ziemlich sauer.

In September 2005, the Song "European Soul" composed by the Austrian Peter Jedlicka won a prize in an art competition organized by the NOE-Kulturforum in Lower Austria, entitled:

"In search of the European Soul"

This song has a good chance to become Europes new Hymn, because it is much easier to sing than Beethoven´s "Ode to joy".

And it has a unique concept to include all languages of the EU Member States: The first verse is always sung in english language, the second verse and the final short verse are sung in the language of the country where it is performed.

On this website we´ll keep you up with news about this composition, give you the chance to download the lyrics and the melody (in MIDI file format), and tell you in which countries, by which artists or choirs the song is performed or recorded.

And you can join in ! If you want to perform this song live - most likely within a Europe-related event - or put it on a record please tell us about it. And if you do not find a language version of your country on this website, please mail if you have a proposal for a translation in your mother tongue.

Peter Jedlicka is increasingly collaborating with other artists in the field of music and digital art.

This new community calls itself WIENERBERG.

Just as the song was performed with singer Birgit Obermoser last year, other combinations of musicians will perform the song in the near future.

This website has also been submitted to the Diesel New Art Contest 2006.

The aim is not to win another prize for the composition, but for the website as a project to unite European musicians, singers and bands by means of the song "European Soul" sung in all European languages.
